Two New Models for Mobile Professionals

The Gateway E-475M is a desktop replacement model and the Gateway E-265M is a thin and light model which both have Intel Core 2 Duo processors, Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family, Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N and Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection.

Both have new features designed to make life on the road much easier and more productive for mobile professionals. These are professional grade laptops which offer more for those who demand a higher caliber notebook for working in mobile environments.

The E-745M has a 15.4" widescreen display and the E-265M has a 14.1" widescreen display and happens to be 1.3" thick (or should that be thin?).

Gateway includes Absolute Software's Computrace(R) Complete for tracing "misplaced" notebooks and both models include Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 1.2 hardware.

Both models can be customized to suit a mobile professional's or company's specific needs and by using a 12 cell battery and optional modular battery, users may be able to get over 10.5 hours of battery time from these laptops.

Advanced Port Replicator II:
This replicator has a built-in battery charger which supports the 6-cell, 8-cell and 12-cell batteries. You don't have to worry about making sure you have a fully charged battery before leaving on a trip.

Designed for Life on the Road
The E-475M and E-265M both have new designs which are very different from existing consumer models. The magnesium frame has a matte black textured plastic cover for more durability. This plastic surface also provides more resiliency than paint against marking and scratches. This magnesium case has been designed to fit tightly so that small items (we're all guilty of this happening) can't get caught between the keyboard and display.

The keyboard hasn't been ignored and includes UV protection so that your keys maintain their texture and don't become shiny from exposure and use while traveling.
